Why train with us?
At Harriet Ellis, we place people first. Our courses are all fully accredited and nationally recognised qualifications, giving you peace of mind that you are studying with a professional training provider.
Since we first started in 2003, we have grown to become the biggest privately owned Dental Nursing College in the UK, helping a variety of students nationwide find their career path in the Dental and Health Sector. We were the first training centre to make learning more flexible and accessible when we introduced our courses online in 2012.
Our student achievements are consistently exceeding the national average with student pass rate results regularly reaching above 90% in the Dental Nursing Diploma.
All our training courses are well structured, and you can flexibly arrange your learning around your work and personal lifestyle.
As well as extensive study materials, you will have access to additional training resources and ongoing support, including:
24/7 access to your course content
As a Harriet Ellis student, you will receive a personal login to the E-learning platform as well as the student hub, where you can access all study materials, videos, and important documents, as well as useful additional online resources. The round the clock access allows you to study and research at your own preferred or most convenient time. It also helps particularly well when you schedule your learning around building your practical knowledge by working alongside qualified dental nurses in a Dental Practice.
Dedicated Support Team
We have a dedicated student support team for all our students. They are available Monday to Friday from 9am until 6pm, to assist you with any questions around your training course you may have, or anything related to your student hub.
You will receive regular ‘check-in’ calls and emails, giving you the opportunity to raise any questions, as well as the sometimes so needed guidance to stay calm when learning pressure is on.
Your dedicated tutor will keep in regular contact with you and provide you with guidance and support around your learning.
Flexible payment options
We understand that many of our students are self-funding their personal development and training. We want to make sure that our courses are accessible and affordable for you and therefore, we offer attractive finance options for you to choose from.
- Interest-free monthly instalments: This requires a minimum deposit (to be paid upon enrolling), followed by 6 monthly interest-free payments. The first instalment will start one month after enrolling in the course.
- Interest-free adjusted monthly instalments: Here you can pay a lower deposit and spread your payment interest-free over a longer period to significantly reduce your monthly payments.
We recommend, contacting our Training Advisors to discuss the most suitable option for you or to find out more about how the adjusted monthly instalments could work for you.
Full Payment
If you decide to pay the course and exam fees in full at the time of enrolling, you will receive a 10% discount.
Job search assistance
As a Harriet Ellis student for the National Dental Nursing Diploma, you need to be working in a Dental Practice environment. It will provide you with practical experience and on-the-job training alongside your theory studies. Each student is required to seek employment independently. With a variety of job portals available online, we highly recommend starting your job hunt and application process as early as possible to ensure you have secured a position within the first three months of your course.
The Student Hub area of our website also has a live vacancy section that is updated each and every time a vacancy becomes available. It is then a quick process for students to be able to apply for a vacancy directly through the student hub.
Harriet Ellis has a strong background in the recruitment industry and can, therefore, offer you the unique service of an industry-specific job search assistance. We have a dedicated recruitment team to assist you in the complete process from screening opportunities, CV writing guidance through to actively contacting Dental Practices to introduce you as a candidate.
Although we cannot guarantee you a job, we will support your proactive job search through industry contacts, and you will have access to a unique job portal available only to you as a Harriet Ellis student. The final decision to offer employment is out of our hands as it depends on individual Dental Practice owners and on different factors within their recruitment process. Therefore, we strongly recommend making use of our support team. Especially the assistance and guidance with your CV can help you stand out from the competition by tailoring it to show your skills and strength.
